Google Wave (#GoogleWave) is still a popular topic on Twitter right now. And apparently every one still wants invites to the beta for Google’s new communication/collaboration tool. This why there are several websites (some are even single serving websites) now sprouting offering Google Wave invites…? I am not sure how these websites giving Google Wave invites work. But so many people are signing up for the free invites from these websites. I wonder how they can grant so many requests. Judging from these websites’ traffic, each of these sites must be receiving hundreds of requests per day. And as I am typing this, according to their websites they “still have Google Wave invites left…”? I wonder where they got all their Google Wave invites from.
You must hurry while supply last.
So, where can I get a Google Wave invite?
- At Google Wave, of course. Your Google Wave invite will probably take time before it reaches you. (Imagine Googlers licking lots and lots of stamps) Request an invitation here.
- From Google Wave users (testers). They can nominate or invite you to Google Wave. This may guarantee you an instant invite as they need to add users to test and share waves with.
- From single serving sites giving thousands of invites in exchange for tweets/re-tweets of their websites and some ads clicking.
- Go to Mountain View (map) and hold someone hostage in Googleplex until they give you your precious.
- Christmas is near. If you’ve been nice you might get one from old Santa.
- Coming soon…
Good luck!…
