The Recent Comments Widget for Blogger doesn’t work with private blogs. While trying to find a work-around with the widget’s script, I came up instead with a way to make a new widget that can display Recent Comments on private blogs. It will display excerpts of the last five comments, with the item dates and the names of the sources/authors.

Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they tumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe…
I was staring at the image I originally used for the Across the Universe Day post and got me wondering like a child. I was imagining how it would be like to have my butt floating up there in outer space, looking down at planet Earth and towards the infinite space continuum. Next thing I know I was photoshoping 3 different images into one and came up with an Across the Universe Day wallpaper/poster. And without any space suit on, I was space walking with my Chuck Taylors.
